Village Life is an NGO that helps rural communities develop sustainably.
One way we do this is by connecting you, the urban weary traveler, with old world village life in the heart of rural Romania. This unique initiative is trying to fulfill both the travelers' need for authenticity and the villagers' need for sustainable development.
Villages
Welcomed by local families from beautiful villages, travelers can actively participate in village life as it really is, day by day, season by season. You can do everything together with your host family, from milking the cow or making cheese to working the fields or discovering wild medicinal plants.
